Matteo Studios is primarily a Print On Demand retail seller, a much more cost-effective and environmentally sustainable way to run a retail business. Most products are only made for a customer when an order is placed, opposed to manufacturing thousands of items with the hope that customers will purchase all of them. Many of those products end up being sold at a deep discount effecting my ability to stay in business or worse, being destroyed and ending up in a landfill. Print On Demand avoids these pitfalls, but production times add to the delivery time.
When a customer places an order, it is electronically sent to one of several manufacturers. They print my design on the product and then ship it to the customer directly. Manufacturing takes time, but usually only 2 to 5 business days. Manufacturing times for individual items are listed near the bottom of the description section on each product page. Obviously, during the Thanksgiving to New Years Holiday Season, demand is particularly high. Also, issues with particular shippers, natural weather events, and geopolitical actions can cause delays. I will list any delays to particular products and or product categories below.
SHIPPING/PRODUCTION DELAYS Last updated: 09 June 2025
There is currently a slight delay of 2 to 3 days for the production of all Canvas Prints. All other products are products are shipping as usual.

Shipping Destinations and times
Matteo Studios ships to all 50 states of the United States of America, Washington D.C., Armed Forces Americas, Armed Forces Europe, Armed Forces Pacific, and the following territories: American Samoa, Micronesia, Guam, Marshall Islands, Northern Mariana Islands, Palau, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Expect to receive shipments in 2-5 business days from the shipping date, unless specified above in the SHIPPING/PRODUCTION DELAYS section. We find that most orders are received by our customers in 5-7 business days from the time the order is placed, manufactured, and shipped to the time it reaches their doorstep.
Items that I personally make and that are in stock (Fine Art Photographs, Greeting Cards, Hand-knit Items, Charm Zipper Pulls, Refrigerator Magnets and Pinback Buttons) and Pride Flags/Pride Stickers are shipped the next business day. Large orders may take longer and I will contact you directly if there will be a delay.
Local Delivery
Select product categories are available for local delivery in the Southwest Michigan and Northwest Indiana areas (Fine Art Photographs, Greeting Cards, Hand-knit Items, Charm Zipper Pulls, Refrigerator Magnets, Pinback Buttons, Pride Flags, and Pride Stickers). A minimum threshold of $100 total for all items to be locally delivered must be met for an order to be eligible. The area defined is roughly 50 miles from Three Rivers, Michigan but exceptions can be made on a case by case basis. If the Local Delivery option does not show at Check Out, please Contact Me to verify delivery for your location.
Shipping Materials
Please note that I re-use shipping materials like padded envelopes and boxes to reduce waste and save on costs.
Shipping Discrepancies
For all shipping discrepancies and issues you must contact me within 4 days of receipt, including package or product damage or destruction incurred during transit. Email me at artwork@matteostudios.art with details of the discrepancies and include photos of defects or damage. If the product is no longer available, a refund will be issued provided I agree with the damage assessment. If a replacement product is available, I shall ship it at my expense. Sold Out Product
Matteo Studios makes every attempt to maintain accurate on-hand inventory quantities. Because I also sell at in-person events, there may be a time delay between selling an item and updating the on-hand inventory online. Therefore, a product may occasionally be sold out and unavailable. If this occurs, I will contact you as soon as possible to resolve the issue.
Sales Taxes
Sales Taxes will be computed on all orders shipped to Michigan locations at checkout, as required by law. This includes any in-person sales. Taxes on shipments to other states or countries may be collected based on the laws of the destination location. Taxes will be calculated at time of checkout.
Custom duties and fees
Custom duties and fees are the responsibility of the customer for all international orders shipped outside of the United States of America.
